It was such a lovely, calm morning at Forest School today. The children were busy painting, feeding the birds, doing scavenger hunts or playing games. At the fire circle we had hot drinks, biscuits and a story. It's lovely to see how the children have bonded and look after each other.

I'll huff and I'll puff til I blow your house down! A very chilly Forest School yesterday. We had lots of fun making pig paintings and building houses to keep the pigs safe. The wolf couldn't blow them down! Warm drinks and toasted brioche around the fire and a big game of the what's the time Mr Wolf to try and stay warm.

Owl Class have had a great hockey lesson this afternoon, followed by a lovely relaxing meditation session where we worked on the box breathing technique.

We had some lovely moments during our 'Positive Noticing Day' today, really focusing on the good things that make our friends special and unique. It was so lovely to share these thoughts and create a tag that can be treasured by the receiver.

Find something everyone, throw something in! Potions, wands, broom sticks, dragon hide and seek and a mysterious witch's hat in the woods. Finished with a warm drink and a song. Lots of fun as always.

FONs are looking forward to seeing you and your children after school tomorrow at our pumpkin party. It starts at 15:20 and is in the lunch mobile. There is no fee for the event, and a pumpkin will be provided for each child. We have prizes for the best pumpkin art! We do ask that parents attend to supervise their children where possible. There will be sweet cakes, biscuits, and hot drinks available for a small donation.
