It was lovely to hear Owl Class showcase their musical talents on Monday afternoon. They have been working really hard with Lincolnshire Music Service and have all enjoyed learning to play the ukulele this term, performing alongside those children who have had individual music lessons. What incredible talent!

Today, the time came to say goodbye to our incredible Year 6's. They did themselves proud in a wonderful, albeit emotional, leavers' assembly, and we would like to wish them all the very best for their next chapter. We are going to miss you, but know that you are all going to be amazing at secondary school. Wishing all of our families a lovely, restful summer and we look forward to welcoming you back in September.

What fun we had yesterday in our annual 'Whole school vs Yr 6 and staff' rounders match. So many laughs and giggles, and of course, Yr 6 and the staff retained their title! Was there any cheating going on? No, absolutely not - we don't know what you mean!! 4th base didn't move an inch!

What an amazing afternoon we had at our Sports Day! It was fantastic to see so many of our School Games values on display throughout the afternoon, with teamwork, determination, respect, honesty, passion and self-belief shining through in every event. The competition couldn't have been any closer, with just **one point** separating 1st and 2nd place! A huge congratulations to **Hurricanes** for taking the title this year! A huge thank you to all of our parents, families and friends who joined us this afternoon. Your support, encouragement and enthusiasm helped make the event so special. Well done to everyone who took part, supported their teams and cheered each other on. You should all be incredibly proud of your efforts – what a brilliant Sports Day!

Sports Day Reminder! A reminder that **Sports Day is going ahead tomorrow Tomorrow 12:45pm – 2:15pm Parents, carers and family members are all very welcome to come along and cheer on the children. We can't wait for an afternoon of fun, teamwork and sporting spirit! With warm weather forecast, please ensure your child comes to school with a named drinks bottle and sun hat. We will be taking regular drinks breaks throughout the afternoon and making use of shaded areas to help everyone stay cool and comfortable. Don't forget to stay afterwards for our School Fete! The fun continues straight after Sports Day, and we'd love to see you there. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

On Thursday we came to school to find our classroom chairs had gone on strike!! The children were challenged to write a letter to the chairs explaining how sorry we were, and how we would make sure they're tucked in next time we are able to sit on them! I was super proud of their independent writing! Great job!

Nocton School Summer Fete Update Due to the recent extreme weather, our School Fete has been postponed and will now take place on 7th July. Please note the raffle draw will also be held on this date, giving everyone a little extra time to get their tickets. We hope you can still join us for a fantastic afternoon of fun!
