Just a quick reminder about Forest school tomorrow for Reception and @hogletspreschool Please could we ask you to make sure you send your child with what they will need for the weather? E.g. waterproof jacket and wellies if it's wet, sun hat if it's sunny. Could you also provide your child with long trousers and sleeves for Forest School? This is to protect against scratches and stings when we explore wilder, more overgrown areas. They can change back into their school shorts/ skirts, after we've finished our session together.

Squirrels worked hard on our colour wheels today, and they look amazing! During this lesson, we made sustainable choices by re-using old flip chart paper to protect the tables, and we used any excess paint to create some artwork instead of pouring it away.

Squirrels are having some Frisbee fun in the sun today for Enrichment! We are looking at distance and then accuracy to get the Frisbee in the square! Some of us are Frisbee pros in the making!

Nocton Primary and Hoglets preschool had their first ever Forest School session today! We played colour bingo, we made bees, we played games, we read books and ate biscuits, we worked as a team and took turns picking litter to look after nature. Most importantly, we had fun connecting with nature and are looking forward to coming back next week!

Hedgehogs and @hogletspreschool are enjoying our provision this week based around 'Sharing a shell'. Here, we are identifying sea creatures, building rock pools using duplo and beginning Drawing Club by Drawing the Crab in its new shell. We're also looking forward to spending more time in our outdoor classroom this week in the glorious weather!

We're back! Hedgehogs had fun today creating jellyfish after learning that Christians believe that God created the world. After we finished, we made sure we kept our lovely outdoor classroom tidy and ready to use another day!
