About Us

Our location in the idyllic village of Nocton, adjoining open countryside, allows us to enhance our rich curriculum offer with valuable outdoor learning opportunities. We cater for children from the ages of 4 to 11 across two and a half classes.

Nocton Community Primary School is very proud to be a key part of the community it serves - teaching our children to respect and be part of their immediate area but also preparing them for life in modern Britain and the wider world.

Our values of Success, Happiness, Inspiration, Nurture for everyone underpin everything that we do

As part of the Spires Federation we are one of three small, rural schools - the others being Dunston St Peter's and Digby CE Primary schools.  The staff across the Federation work very closely together - this provides strength for the schools and opportunities for our pupils that could not be provided by one small school on its own - such as wider learning opportunities and a wonderful range of sporting activities.

Nocton may be a small school, but the best things sometimes come in small packages! We know each and every pupil and their families well, the children develop close friendships and the high pupil to adult ratio means everyone's learning is extremely well-supported. As part of our Wrap Around Care we offer both Breakfast and After School provision to help support our families.

The Executive Headteacher for the Spires Federation, Miss D Winters, shares time between the 3 schools, focussing on developing the leadership and management of the schools, whilst the Federation Deputy Headteacher and Senior Federation Lead, leads the school and oversees the day-to-day running of the school.

If this has whetted your appetitive to find out more about the offer at Nocton Community School we would love to have the opportunity to show you around and to talk further about your child or children enrolling with us.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into the Nocton family.
