Digby Church of England School has been rated Outstanding across all areas — a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication of our staff, pupils, and community.

“Pupils love their small, nurturing village school. They come in every morning with a smile on their faces, ready for a day of exciting learning and fun.”

Children arrive each day with smiles, ready to learn and grow. The school fosters a strong sense of belonging, where every child is valued and supported. Friendships flourish, and pupils take pride in their learning and behaviour.

Our curriculum is exciting and well-structured, helping children build knowledge step by step. Teachers deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and encourage high achievement. In early years, personalised learning and playful approaches set children up for lifelong success.

Children with special educational needs (SEND) receive tailored support that helps them thrive. Our inclusive approach ensures all pupils can access the curriculum and make excellent progress.

Reading is a top priority. Our phonics programme is delivered with skill and consistency, helping children become confident, fluent readers by the end of Year 2.

Despite being a small school, our pupils enjoy a wide range of clubs, trips, and enrichment activities. They learn about different cultures, religions, and values, developing into thoughtful, respectful citizens.
