PE is on a Tuesday with Coach Kieran and every Friday with Ms Truby.

Homework is set on a Friday and should be returned on the following Friday.

If you are unable to upload homework onto your child's Microsoft Teams account, please bring this in to Ms Truby or Mrs Walker to look at in person.

Spellings will be set for year 2's each week using Spelling Bee. Your child will bring a paper activity home as well as have access to the Spelling Bee website where weekly activities will be set to match their learning in class.  

Children in Reception and Year 1 will need to practise their phonics also as homework, which covers what they have been learning that week in their lessons.  This will be given to parents during our phonics evening at the start of the year.  

We love to celebrate reading! Children can change their reading books independently on any school day, as long as a member of staff is informed.

Each child takes home a reading book matched to their reading level, alongside a book of their own choice to enjoy and share with family. We ask that children read at least three times each week, with each read signed by a parent or carer.

The more children read at home, the more rewards they can earn, helping to inspire a lifelong love of books!
